Evidence & expectations

Cold-air cooling is a support measure for comfort during selected procedures, not an independent rejuvenation treatment. The manufacturer describes its procedural uses and airflow controls.[1]

Preparation & recovery

The clinician determines how cooling fits the procedure and checks the skin response. Cooling does not remove the need for an appropriate anaesthesia or aftercare plan.[1]

Risks & limitations

Comfort and tissue safety are different outcomes. Cold exposure must be controlled, and reduced discomfort does not mean the underlying procedure has no risk.[1]

Compare your options

Discuss cooling, topical or local anaesthesia and other comfort measures according to the procedure. Cryo 6 does not replace the treatment or determine its result.[1]

How we use evidence

A controlled trial compares interventions in defined groups; an uncontrolled cohort cannot, alone, establish causality. A review depends on the quality of its included studies. We distinguish these sources from manufacturer information and identify when findings do not directly apply to the platform or protocol.

The date records when sources were checked for this guide. It is not a statement of individual clinical review, product authorisation or confirmation of the clinic’s available configuration.

This guide supports a conversation with your clinician. It does not determine your suitability or replace individual aftercare instructions.
