Planning your assessment
How do I find out the price?
Ask the team for the consultation fee and a written estimate for any proposed plan. The website does not take payment or confirm a treatment price.
Do I need to know which treatment I want?
No. Start with an area, a concern or a question. Your medical assessment is the starting point for discussing suitable options, including whether treatment is appropriate.
How do I request an assessment?
Choose your priorities on the assessment page or go straight to its form. Add your contact details and preferred date. When online submission is available, Send appointment request sends your details to the clinic. Wait for confirmation before visiting; a request is not a confirmed booking.
Does sending a request confirm my appointment?
No. A requested time is a preference, and a receipt confirms the request only. Wait for separate confirmation from the clinic before travelling. If online submission is unavailable or fails, check with the team rather than assuming the appointment exists.
What should I prepare for the consultation?
Bring your priorities and questions. Discuss relevant medical history, medicines, allergies and previous treatments directly with the professional, using an appropriate channel. Ask if specific records are needed and how to share them. Do not change prescribed medication based on website information.
Understanding your options
What is useful to discuss at a consultation?
Your priorities, previous treatments and expectations. Ask about the alternatives, expected results, possible risks, recovery, aftercare and the full cost before making a decision.
What is the difference between medical treatments, protocols and technology?
Medical treatments include approaches such as botulinum toxin (Botox), hyaluronic acid and regenerative options. Technology pages explain individual devices. A technology protocol describes a possible sequence or combination around a concern; it is not a fixed prescription or a package suitable for everyone. Both medical treatments and technology protocols sit under Treatments.
Can I ask about a particular machine or treatment?
Yes. Open its guide and follow the assessment link, or select the interest in the form. You can change or remove that choice. An interest helps start the conversation; it does not confirm availability, suitability or that the named device will be used. Ask about the proposed product or equipment and alternatives.
Who decides whether a procedure is suitable?
Suitability requires an individual assessment by the relevant professional. Ask who will assess you, who will perform any procedure, their qualifications and professional registration, and their experience with the proposed approach. A search result or selected area cannot make that decision.
Are results guaranteed and do I have to proceed?
No result is guaranteed and no procedure is risk-free. Discuss expected benefits, limitations, relevant complications and alternatives, including postponing or choosing no treatment. Take time to decide and ask for an explanation of anything you do not understand before giving informed consent. An enquiry or area selection is not treatment consent.
How many sessions will I need and when might I see changes?
There is no single schedule for every person or technology. The proposed approach, your starting point, clinical suitability and response affect the plan. Ask for an individual timeline covering sessions, spacing, review, recovery and any maintenance. Protocol examples do not guarantee the same schedule or outcome for you.
How should I read a treatment’s scientific references?
Check what was actually studied: the product or device, indication, comparison group, number of participants and length of follow-up. A controlled trial and an uncontrolled case series answer different questions. A study of one platform does not establish the same benefit for every combination. The individual treatment and technology guides distinguish research from manufacturer information and include their sources.
Are PRP, PRF, polynucleotides and exosomes equivalent?
No. They differ in origin, composition, preparation and the evidence for each intended use. Results for scalp PRP cannot be transferred to facial PRF; research on one PN formulation cannot validate all PDRN preparations; a post-laser exosome gel study does not validate an unspecified injection. Ask which exact product or preparation is proposed and what evidence applies to your concern.
Your appointment and follow-up
What are the opening hours?
Monday to Saturday, 08:00–20:00. Please arrange your appointment with the team and confirm your arrival time.
Can I change or cancel an appointment?
Contact the clinic as soon as possible. Confirm the cancellation, rescheduling and deposit conditions when making your booking.
How much recovery time should I plan for?
Recovery varies with the proposed procedure and your individual circumstances. Ask the professional about expected downtime, aftercare and follow-up before deciding.
Where is the clinic?
Liberdade 108 by Valdoleiros Clinic is at Avenida da Liberdade, 108, 6th floor, Lisbon, Portugal. Confirm your appointment and arrival instructions before travelling. The footer includes written directions and a Google map that loads automatically as you approach it.
Can I ask about accessibility, language or bringing someone?
Yes. Tell the team about access or communication requirements before visiting, and ask about step-free access, the building entrance, language support or having a companion where relevant. The sixth-floor address alone does not confirm accessibility. Confirm arrangements rather than assuming they are available.
What if I have a concern after a procedure?
Use the aftercare contact and instructions provided by your treating professional. Before treatment, clarify whom to contact and which signs need urgent attention. The website form and email are not emergency channels. For an emergency in Portugal, call 112 rather than waiting for an online reply.
Privacy and your choices
Are the model images real patients?
No. The woman and man in the area explorer are fictional AI-generated illustrations. They are not patients or examples of treatment results.
Can I include an intimate area?
Yes. Select Genital area in the body explorer, or simply make a note to raise it in person. You do not need to describe intimate details here. Selecting an area does not confirm that a particular treatment is offered or suitable.
Are my planner choices saved or sent automatically?
Planner selections and form fields stay in the current page's memory until an enabled form is submitted. They are not saved in browser storage. Refreshing or closing clears unsent details. Treatment links may include an interest in their URL, which can remain in browser history and technical logs. The Your data page explains these differences.
Are the website comparison images real treatment results?
The current editorial comparison is an illustration, not a documented patient outcome. Approved clinical cases, when available, should identify the treatment, timeline and relevant context. Images do not guarantee a result; assess the proposed care with the professional.
How can I access, correct or ask to delete my information?
Email liberdade108@valdoleirosclinic.com with your request and enough information to locate the enquiry. Do not send unnecessary identity documents. Data rights depend on the processing and legal conditions; clinical and billing records may need to be retained. The normal reply period is one month. See the privacy policy for rights, possible extensions and the CNPD complaint route.
How can I raise a concern or make a complaint?
Contact the clinic with the date, relevant reference and a clear description. You can also use the official healthcare complaint routes through ERS or the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico; the Terms and conditions page links to them. Personal-data complaints can be made to CNPD. Contacting the clinic first is not a condition for exercising your legal complaint rights.
